Like they were never away! The Veronicas celebrate their return to the music industry and Sony record deal in Darlinghurst bar
They’re back on the music scene and couldn’t be any happier.
The sisters were chummy alongside their new Sony Music family as they were spotted celebrating their new record deal at Verde restaurant and bar in Darlinghurst on Tuesday.
The Australian pop duo recently announced their return after taking a four-year hiatus.
The 29-year-old twins rocked their signature grunge look while displaying a whole lot of leg.
Lisa was themed black as she wore catseye shades, silver hoop earrings, black chocker, halter singlet and cut off shorts with a flannelette shirt tied around her waist and platform ankle boots.
Jessica added a bit more colour to her outfit as she wore Ray Bans, red lippy, a leopard-print coat over her striped top and high-waisted shorts.
She also chose to show off a different angle of her outfit through her Instragram account - although it revealed a little bit more than modesty would allow.
The Origliasso sisters announced their return after releasing a Youtube video in March that gave fans a sneak peek into their new record, Did You Miss Me?.
They have come a long way since their musical debut back in 2004 at the age of 19.
After two studio albums and a global tour in 2009, Lisa and Jess decided to take a break to ‘discover whether they could create separately and individually’.
However, the third album was due to be released last year but a dispute with their previous label, Warner Brothers Records, delayed their release according to themusic.com.au.
Since then, the girls appear to have moved on and didn’t waste any time to get back in the studio.
They recently spent time in Nashville and Los Angeles to finish off their record with Sony Music.
